This is a music and theater program for people with developmental, physical, and intellectual disabilities as well as friends and siblings. Students will collaborate to write songs, in a pop/musical theater style, and then stage, choreograph, and deliver an exciting live performance for all. The goal of Reach for Real is to enhance the life experience of people with needs through music enrichment. Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Non-Verbal Learning Disorders, Down Syndrome, Tourette’s Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Sensory Integration Disorder, Other Moderate to High Functioning Developmental Disabilities, and those with Visual or Hearing Impairments can benefit from this program. Student/Teacher ratio is 5/1. Registration must be received 7 days prior to class start date.
WHO WE ARE
The Carlisle Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is an organization made up of parent volunteers that serves as a resource and advisor to parents and guardians of children with special needs and learning differences. The mission of the Carlisle SEPAC is to work for the understanding of, respect for and support of all children with special needs in the community.
